The challenge was to create a brand identity that breaks away from conventional patterns in the woodworking and interior design industry, one that reflects both the artistic essence and the technical precision that define Carve’s work. The visual system needed to express creativity, sophistication, and craftsmanship in equal measure, while still feeling modern, confident, and timeless.

I developed a refined, sculptural identity that reimagines the traditional rules of corporate design. The logo’s form resembles a crafted piece of art, merging symbolism, geometry, and simplicity to convey the spirit of creation and mastery. I designed the Carve identity to express the brand’s refined craftsmanship and its modern, artistic approach to woodwork. The logo’s overall concept resembles a sculpted piece of art, reflecting the brand’s dedication to shaping materials with precision and creativity. At the same time, the form subtly suggests a simplified tree silhouette, a nod to the raw material that defines Carve’s work, and abstractly incorporates three letterforms, giving the mark both symbolic and structural depth.
The identity intentionally moves away from the conventional aesthetics commonly seen in the field, adopting a more sophisticated and futuristic direction. My goal was to highlight the creative and artistic spirit of the brand while maintaining a sense of professionalism and technical excellence. The concept celebrates the value of custom, high quality craftsmanship, positioning Carve as both a maker and a designer, a brand that builds with intellect and emotion.
The color palette was carefully selected to reflect Carve’s elegance, advanced artistic vision, and forward thinking nature. Subtle, warm tones complement the strength of the logo mark, creating a balance between craftsmanship and modern design. The overall visual language supports the brand’s commitment to innovation and its focus on delivering premium, made-to-order creations with an emphasis on detail and refinement.
To reinforce this balance between art and structure, I incorporated simple geometric lines throughout the identity. These lines add a sense of seriousness and modernity, while also connecting to the brand’s final products, from furniture forms to architectural details. They can be used independently or alongside the icon, maintaining visual strength in any context. Through this approach, the Carve identity embodies both the sculptural artistry of woodwork and the precision of contemporary design.
